He gives the impression of death, becoming alive. Linking with the genre of metal but not with the title of the album, again being abstract and there for fitting in with the genre. Manson’s costume consists of highly edited make up, giving the illusion of death. One key feature which is well known of Manson is wearing one contact lens and is also included in the image. Allowing viewers to easily identify the artist. His expression looks like he is screaming or emotionless, again fitting in with the death look and the contrapuntal look.
